Healthy Snack: Roasted Chickpeas

This is one of my go-to snacks when I'm craving something crispy. Chickpeas are good source of protein and fiber. Yummy and healthy!


Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1 pinch of sea salt

1 pinch of ground black pepper

1 (15 ounce) can of chickpeas

nutritional yeast to sprinkle on


Directions:

  1. Prepare baking sheet. Place foil on top and put in the oven for pre-heating. Pre-heat oven for 400 degrees.

  2. Bake dry on foil for 30 minutes. Flip every 10 minutes.

  3. After 3o minutes is done, take them out, pour olive oil on top and add seasonings. I like to mix it in a bowl.

  4. Put the chickpeas back in the oven for 10 more minutes.

Easy and nutritious!
